Diverse and extensive courses for maximum adaptability
IBEC is truly representative of the overall ethos of DPU. Courses which develop business knowledge are studied alongside specialist subjects as diverse but interconnected as Mass Media, Marketing, Semiotics and Film Appreciation, as well as a complete and staged range of language skills courses.
Ideal class sizes, constantly updated course content
Its impressive instructor-to-student ratio (approximately 15:1) aside, IBEC’s uniqueness stems from its design and constant revision: as well as input from academics, working professionals and pedagogic experts, the program is also strongly based on students’ own ideas, requirements, choices and reflections.
Practical experience
All eligible students are encouraged to participate in the cooperative education program, in which students in their final year get 600 hours of work experience in a selected company with an international environment.
The chance to meet international students
As a language based international program, it also benefits from attracting students from many nationalities and cultures: this multicultural diversity both represents and reflects back onto the program, which aims to introduce and encompass as many globally oriented courses and topics as possible.
