Clarksville has received several calls from citizens inquiring about when Trick-or-Treat night will be held and at what time Trick-or-Treaters will be allowed to collect candy.
Now it’s official: Trick or Treating will be held on Halloween, Monday, October 31.
Also, the City of Clarksville will not regulate hours for trick-or-treating. It will be up to each family, neighborhood, business and organization to decide what time they plan to participate. The Police Department will have extra patrols on the streets that evening. Residents are reminded that if they find any candy that looks suspicious, notify the Clarksville Police Department immediately.
Motorists are advised that there will be many children on the streets at dusk on Halloween; use extra caution when driving through neighborhoods.
