This research paper proposes the addition of emotional
factors to the traditional behavioral decision making of
artificial fish, which is an effort to fill a research gap in the
area. Due to the fuzzy characteristics of emotions, this paper
processes the emotions of artificial fish in a fuzzy manner
together with other important environmental information. In
addition, this paper combines CMAC neural network to
determine the behavioral decision making of artificial fish. A
follow-up simulation experiment is conducted and results show
that the neural network can achieve a quite reasonable
behavioral strategy in artificial fish. The research has
significant theoretical and practical value that it can improve
the survival and self-decision ability of artificial fish that are
positioned in a complex virtual ocean environment.
