Emulsions were prepared using a mechanical stirrer (500 rpm). Water and the paraffin oil/wax mixture (wax content: 5, 10, 15, 20,25 and 30 wt% of the oil phase) were separately heated to 75–88◦C(to the melting point of different waxes), and subsequently water was gradually added to the oil phase under continuous stirring. The emulsions contained from 10 to 60 wt% of water. Emulsification was carried out continuously until the temperature dropped to 25◦C.
