The results show that the participants work constantly
in a sitting position on a fixed stool and sewing
machine table in an awkwardly forward position bending
their neck and back which puts them in high
risk for developing musculoskeletal complaints. This
particular situation is one of the most noted scenarios
found in most articles relating to ergonomic risk
factors of sewing machine operators [5,9,13,23–27],
which causes a sustained load on the muscles of shoulder
and neck [26].
