Hello Keith,
I try to separate the important topics in five parts, please answer me question by question.
First, about machine
- You said rack of 15-200w is good, what about the rubber track, is it still good to work? -24x40A drills don’t normally have rubber tracks. They are steel. The steel tracks on this drill are in good shape.
- The machine is 125Hp in commons diesel with Aplex water pump, is that right? Yes.
- Machine also has drive chuck and sub savers? Yes, it has a drive chuck with sub saver on the drill.
Second, drills string rod
- As you said, there is the pipe that come with machine how long is it? Each piece is 10 feet long. There are 37 pieces which totals 370 feet. and I need specific seize per bit, like how long and diameter per bit? I’m sorry but I will not empty every piece of rod and measure it.
Third, mud mixing tank
- You told me about MX240 with 1,000 gallon tank, I was considered and I thought it was too big. So, you have the others smaller seize. 750 gallon is perfect though. We do not have any 750 gallon systems unfortunately. Only 500 and 1,000.
Four, F5 locator
- How much is it? , and it also included remote receiver and transmitter right? $22,300. Yes, it includes the receiver, remote display, dual frequency sonde, 3 batteries, charger, case. This is a new system.
Last, tooling
- you told me that new drill head with housing, adapter, starter rod, collar, and 5” Jagger bit is $1,866. It's looks good , however, we're believed that components are not so convenience with our works cause it's hard to prepare and take off in the fields so, the one that we're want is the model call "Quick fire", like Quick fire starter rod , Adapter quick fire, etc. It's fast and much more easier to works with. Do you have that "Quick fire" in your stocks?, if you have please give me the detail and price. We do not sell ‘quick fire’. You can only buy quick fire from a Vermeer dealer. Quick connect is the original system that Vermeer has used and still uses because it is superior to quick fire.
- About the transmitter housing, it's going to fit exactly with F5 transmitter right? Yes.
Please give me the list of detail about drill head and seize of each, Then I will know which one that perfect fits with my require or which one is not. Vermeer 6 bolt (1/2” -13) Dirt Housing with 2-3/8” API Reg box thread – 3.25” diameter
Best regard,
-Paramet

Hi,
15-200w sound's good.
As you said about 40% of rod, can I see the picture of that rod?. So I can consider it's okay or not.
Thanks.

Hi Paramet-
15-200w is the nicer of the two drills. The rack (the part the carriage box slides up and down on) is better, the vices are better, the body has less rust (it was repainted at some point but it was a decent job). The rod isn’t great… it’s probably 40% rod, but it has some life left in it.
15-203 isn’t a bad drill, it’s just not quite as nice as 15-200. It’s a little rusty and the rack shows more wear. Vices are good, chain is good, ro
