Good night Yuva.
I do like Roxy. She is a medium to large breed. She is a very friendly dog and lets you know if
she likes you or not. I think she likes me because she knows I am not afraid of her, and maybe
because I annoy her with her ball. I put my hand right up to her mouth and just hold onto the ball
until she lets go. I am always careful not to grab the ball in such a way as to pinch what would
be the lips of her mouth. And I do not swing her head with it. As for taking animals anywhere,
I guess I consider pets, pets. I do not consider them a part of the family and do not get so attached
that I can not go anywhere without them. After all, even mans best friend will given the proper
provocation can and will bite the hand of their master. And my cat, who does not warm up to other
pets or people. Would never take her anywhere. Besides, she spends an incredible amount of time
crying whenever I take her to the vet. Plus I think my cat is spoiled. Not only do I clean her two
litter boxes every day, I also brush her out at least once a day. Not that it gets all the fur, but it gets
a lot of the fur off of her. It also minimizes hairballs! But yes, she does like to be brushed out!
Work is always a battle from the end of August to the end of the year. That is when IBM goes crazy
with insisting everyone help IBM meet its financial goals for the year. Spend approvals become harder
to get. Talking to the people who approve becomes harder. I finally got upset and scheduled a call with
the final approval Director two weeks ago. I did not have my manager there because I did not want him
saying anything to annoy a Director. We had a very frank and honest conversation about IBM goals and
what I did in support of all the accounts I provide services for. He cautioned me on patience with the
process and I cautioned him on how if he wasn't careful, he too would be promoted to VP for not
making a decision, or arguing against a spend. We both laughed about the comment and that was the end.
Or at least it was until two days ago. That is when he went to bat for me and got all of my spend
requests approved. Sometimes upper management appreciates the truth over saying what they want to hear.
It looks like the manufacturer of stickers in Japan is leaving the design of one on their website, but pulling
it from the production line. It was a sticker of a red bull! The company admitted it is could be the source of
difficulties between the people of Thailand given its political implications. Amazing the things you find in
news being reported. The Washington Post, a news paper here in America is busy slamming the Thai
investigation into the murder of the two Brits. While freedom of the press is the reported claim here in the U.S.
I am always amazed at the level of garbage and accusations being pointed as news instead of simply reporting
the news. The news on this should have been Thai officials have arrested two people for the murders and
wait for the trial to be done before making comments on the editorial page where personal comments can
be made. Not on page three of the newspaper claim personal comments is news reporting. I do dislike the
way news is being reported in the west. If you do not agree with them, they will fabricate something, call it
news and let you worry about how to prove their accusation wrong. It is terribly without honor. Enough of
slanted point of view!
Pleasant dreams and sleep well. I think of you always.
Hugs & Kisses.
