Requirements & Qualifications
Thai nationality.
Good conversational skills in English.
Experience in leading a team is essential.
2-3 years experienced as Head Chef in Japanese restaurant.
Lunch and dinner availability.
Knowledge of correct portions and positions on plates.
Food cost control.
Job Responsibilities:
Hire and train kitchen team members .
Prepare kitchen staff work schedule.
Responsible for all kitchen administration.
Responsible for restaurant purchasing.
Ensures consistency and portioning of all food.
Optimum labor cost control.
Responsible for the maintenance of food cost in line with the budget.
To conduct daily inspections of refrigerators and the kitchen area.
Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation.
Establishes and maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas.
Works with owner in developing additional menu items.
Additional duties may be added at anytime due to any circumstances at the discretion of management.
