Do more to support the smaller shows. They spend more and more on the established shows but not the smaller shows. (Oak tree examples) They aren’t supporting so much on potential small shows that in a long term will eventually grow and become something big. You get the big grant from TCEB when you don’t really need it like when the organization is already big. The big guys don’t need those grant. It’s like giving a grant than a company like PPT than to start up companies. TCEB are just not as encouraging financially to the less matured shows. This is where Singapore is better at; it is more supportive of the new shows. Though more expensive but they are more supportive. TCEB needs certain market regulations into the new shows. Do more to help new shows because they need it. TCEB seriously only bring in existing shows from overseas and make an Asian version of that. You don’t get grants unless it’s already big. It honestly should be the other way around, Back to front.
