Amylose content was measured using an amylose/amylopectin
assay kit (Megazyme International, Wicklow, Ireland) according to
(Gibson, Solah, & McCleary, 1997). Solubility and swelling power
were measured at 90 C according to (Leach, McCowen, & Schoch,
1959) with a sample suspension at 1 g/100 mL.
