For Valentino Fashion, every hallway is a runway. Spun off to shareholders by Italian fabric maker Marzotto in 2005, the fashion house holds Marzotto's former apparel units. It is divided into two businesses that offer clothing, accessories, and footwear for men and women: Valentino (including Valentino Garavani, Valentino Roma, and RED Valentino) and a licensing unit with brands Marlboro Classics and M Missoni, as well as its own labels, Lebole, Oxon, Portrait, and a minority stake in US-brand Proenza Schouler. In 2009 Valentino Fashion cut its ties to Hugo Boss' business (with brands Boss and Hugo). The group operates 700-plus single-brand boutiques in about 85 countries and an e-commerce site, Valentino.com.
