Among saturated fatty acids, myristic acid (C14:0)
and palmitic acid (C16:0) presented the highest concentrations.
Highly unsaturated fatty acids (HUFA) were dominated by
eicosapentaenoic (EPA: C20:5n−3), arachidonic (ARA: C20:4n−6)
and docosahexaenoic (DHA: C22:6n−3) acids. In contrast, the polyunsaturated
fatty acid content (PUFA) linoleic acid (LA): C18:2n−6 and α
linoleic acid (ALA): C18:3n−3 of the PL fraction from biofloc was low.
The NL was dominated by saturated fatty acids (SFA) (C16:0) and EPA
(20:5n−3).
