Participants should be willing to work as either a grocery clerk or a deli clerk. Position will be decided by employer after arrival. Grocery clerks will provide excellent customer service, operate cash registers, and stock shelves and coolers. Deli clerks will assist with food preparation and serving customers in the deli. General cleaning and other duties may be required by supervisor as necessary. This position requires long periods of standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
