Because of comprehensive characteristics of ILE and the
diverse mode of learning, learning information is quite
complex, multi-dimensional, and multi-level. According to
the elements involved in learning environment, the sources
of learning information can be classified into two classes, i.e.,
internal search and external search. Internal search is defined
by retrieving knowledge and upgrading skills from
instructors, teammates and the integrated learning
environment via intranet that prepared for projects assigned.
External search is delimitated by collecting information and
obtaining experiences from other peers, instructor out-of—
class, and the integrated learning environment via internet.
Another criterion of classification for sources of learning
information is accorded by means of intercourse. There are
three types: depend search, interactive search and auxiliary
search. Depend search is to acquire a whole set of skills and
experiences from instructor and other experts. Interactive
search is to communicate and interact among teammate from
project, or to learn from experiences. Auxiliary search is
based on intranet and internet and accord with structured
inquiry.
