Regardless of shading treatment, the WUE values kept on
decreasing with increasing time points in DP type, whereas it
gradually increased to a maximum by 14 DOT followed by an
alternate gradual decrease until 35 DOT in MP type (Fig. 2iej). In
general, the WUE value of DP-jasmine was about two folds of that
in MP one. The highest values of DP and MP types were respectively
observed from unshaded plants by 7 DOT and from 20%
treated plants by 14 DOT (Fig. 2iej). Furthermore, in DP type, the
regular order of highest to lowest WUE values was recorded under
full sunlight, 5, 50 and 20% light treatments from 14 to 35 DOT
(Fig. 2i). In MP type, the order was irregular as the maximum
values were observed from plants kept under no shade and 50%
treatments by 28 DOT, at 20% by 14 DOT, and at 5% by 7 DOT
(Fig. 2j).
