COMMENT
The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness
of MSB-Nutrition, an Internet-based prevention program
aimed at college students. Consistent with previous
research, this study revealed that the MSB-Nutrition program
increased students’ self-efficacy, increased healthy eating
behaviors, and lowered stress. However, the program had
no effect on students’ attitudes toward exercise, exercise behaviors,
or BMI. Additionally, in no case did the on-campus
course have better outcomes than those in the MSB-Nutrition
course or comparison group.
