Clearly there are issues that remain unresolved. The
current study is not meant to be the definitive supply of
public school quality paper; instead, it introduces the
supply of public school quality to the economics of education
literature in hopes that the details may be worked
out. The most important details include the choice of
supply shifters and the measure of school quality in both
the house price hedonic estimations and the supply function.
Future research should also study rural areas to
compare the price elasticity of supply in rural and urban
areas.
