Light shone through the window, shining down harshly on the figure in the dull gray bed and making him groan, kicking off his now too hot comforter. As soon as he did so he shivered, realizing how cold the air outside of the blanket was.
Yawning, he slowly sat up, slightly folding in on himself as he brought a hand up to rub his eyes. The sweatshirt pooled over his wrists, stopping over his knuckles as he pulled the sleeves over his hands to warm them up.
Finally forcing himself to get off the bed, Andy walked out into the hallway and turned up the thermostat. He shivered again, wishing for the apartment to heat up quickly as he yawned once again and walked into the living room. The moment he was about to sit down on the couch, he noticed something on the floor. Make that something huge on the floor.
He blinked, finding himself staring at a large silver box bigger than him tied with a red bow.
"What the hell...?" he muttered, still not feeling like himself from the events of yesterday as his eyes narrowed and he stared at the box. Cautiously walking towards it, he moved around the rectangular object, pulling his hood up to shield his face in case anything popped out. However, nothing happened as he stood by the box for minutes, and he finally decided to open it.
Gingerly putting his fingers under the lip of the cover, he pulled it up, surprised by how easily it came off and pushed it off to the side.
He blinked again, standing up extremely fasting and backing away with his eyes wide.
'WHAT!?' he screamed in his head, holding a hand over his fast beating heart as he stared at the box, but not what was inside.
Gulping, he inched near the box again and peered inside.
Inside the box...was a man.
