I arrived about 10pm in the evening, had trouble getting to the hotel from the airport. So I was a little tired, and weary. By the time I checked into the hotel I just wanted to check in and go to bed. They didn't have credit card facilities and demanded cash off me off me immediately. I at that time wasn't carrying the full amount. I asked if I could leave what I had which was most of it and give the rest in the morning as I was tired. They refused, got the manager who angrily demanded I pay all of it right then. I told them I would need to leave my luggage some where and go and find an ATM bank machine at that late hour. They were demanding, unhelpful, and made me do it. I was very annoyed that they would not trust me to give the rest in the morning and the manager sounded very angry and rude. It put me off for the rest of my stay there so I didn't talk to anyone at the front office and ate away from the hotel. Soon as I finished my 13 days there I immediately checked into another accommodation up the road which was cheaper, nicer and more friendlier. I ate at the new place every day. The best service offered at BLOOMS were the ladies that cleaned my room every day and one male porter who let me make a call on his private mobile, because I couldn't ring out of BLOOMS and their public phone didn't work. Their restaurant looks very boring and univiting too! I didn't want to eat there.
