Scope of work:-
Responsible for ensuring consistency across all materials; making local adaptations to artwork sent from Head Office in the UK and developing local materials for locally lead initiatives
Provide in-house design capability to support in house
Brand teams in their development of product packaging design and marketing for new products developed in Thailand
Designs rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style within the Boots brand design guideline
Develops and delivers graphics solutions in line with the critical path and brief with innovative designs and concepts that fit within the best practice guidelines to drive consistency across the brand.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies.
Builds relationships with the Graphic Design team in the Boots International office of the UK, sharing experiences and techniques.
Manages the Graphic Design team, including coaching and mentoring the Graphic Design Coordinator and updating software and systems requirements as necessary to complete the work.
Specification:-
Bachelor degree in Graphic design or related field
At least 4 years experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Graphic Design and Layout Skills
Good communication and relationship skills with a high level of English
Creativity and attention to detail with flexibility and openness to making changes as requested.
Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
Proven awareness of creativity e.g. Portfolio of previous design.
Deadline-orientated and able to work under pressure.
Customer focussed in delivering optimum results.
Managing other designers.
