With reference to the above, after trying to make meeting arrangements for this afternoon to discuss important Zone 1 Fire Safety issues of which you were previously advised of in my mail copied to you dated 19/03/2015 at 12.49pm. It has just been brought to my attention by a another member of staff that you have not attended work today and you are on leave?
On this point both I and HR have not received any communication from you this morning as to the reasons why you have not attended work today and you were already made aware both verbally and in the e mail below last week that your leave application for todays date was rejected due to both the short notice given and the safety team being short staffed due to Tom being on a training course!
In closing, please be advised that I find your actions in not attending work today unacceptable and suggest that on your return to work that we sit down with Tracy Squires HR Manager to discuss this matter further (Date and Time to be advised)
