In Brief
Welcome!
I am a graduate of the broadcast journalism program at the University of Georgia. I hold a Masters degree in international studies and a J.D. from the University of Wyoming. I have more than twelve years combined overseas experience living and working in developing countries throughout the Middle East, East Africa and Central Asia.
Currently, I work for a bank in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where I provide general legal advice on Saudi corporate and finance laws to the bank’s senior management. Prior to Saudi I was with a small law firm in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The focus of my practice was foreign investment and to a lesser degree mining/water/environmental law.
Before Mongolia, I spent a significant amount of time in Central Asia conducting research for my thesis and working for a USAID funded project in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in relation to water policies and to assist farmers rebuild their canal systems after the collapse of the USSR.
