Rizwan (2010) explored that the modern organizations try to integrate employee commitment
and the performance level of any organization. To keep the employee’s self-esteem and sense of
worth elevated, rewards are the most contingent factors that are being used by the management
of the organization. The performance evaluation and rewards are the two factors which are
considered to be the cornerstone for the performance evaluation programs. So rewards are an
essential part of compensation management as well as of performance evaluation program.
