Among the factors considered in determining the production of HGF as a means to feed livestock, we can mention adverse temperatures in some months of the year. This
happens in some parts of Chihuahua in the months of September, October, November,
December, January and February. These temperatures slow fodder growing half of the
year and high temperatures during June, July and August coupled with the little rainfall
that is recorded in the area makes livestock food hard to get. That is why the research
group of the Chemical Faculty of the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua has been
dedicated to study and implement various research projects that can be applied to improve
fodder and livestock production.
