Behavioral Tolerance
Behavioral tolerance results from behavioral adaptations that occur and that counteract the effects of a drug. In experimental situations, this is best identified with the use of easily observed outcomes such as seizure activity, performance in a maze, or response to painful heat exposure, for example.
