Condensation of water vapor and tar took place
in the condenser in which latent heat of condensation
was released to the ice-cooled water Jowing
through it. The glass condenser was rinsed with
Dichloromethane to remove tar from its wall and the
content from the Jask below the condenser was transferred
to a ceramic tray. The ceramic tray was then
kept in an oven at 105◦Cfor about 6 h to evaporate
water and other liquids.
