From my profile:
Presently, I live in Bangkok. I received most of my education (high school through PhD) from the United States of America and worked there for a great part of my life.
+ I was born in Thailand and went to elementary school in Bangkok. I understand Thai culture, but I don't think I think like a Thai. My thinking and cultural values are more Western in general and American in particular. I can express myself better in English than in Thai. Like farangs, I respect women and treat them well. (I had a very bright and smart mother who encouraged me to think independently.) One strong Asian value I have is my understanding of Buddhadhamma, as I indicated at various places in my profile.
So, you tell me who I am and whether I am Thai or foreigner.
Hint: Ever since I was a small boy, I have thought that I am a citizen of the World and that national boundaries are arbitrary. Buddhadhamma has taught me to see all human beings the same -- no natives and no foreigners. We are all human fellows and should help one another in ways that we can. Jesus Christ has taught me to be nice to everyone.
