Patterns of joint involvement in psoriatic arthritis
Distal pattern – primarily involves distal joints
of the fingers and toes.
Oligoarticular pattern – involves four or less
peripheral joints.
Polyarticular pattern – involves five or more
peripheral joints.
Spondylitis – primarily involves joints of the spine.
Arthritis mutilans – destructive arthritis involving
multiple joints.
