Everyone needs good friends! Don’t you think? Friends are always there for you. They keep you company. Friends have many qualities. The three qualities that I think are most important are honesty, friendliness, and they have to have a good sense of humour. We want to trust our friends, he or she has to be nice to us (of course,) and it is always nice to have a good laugh with your friend once and a while.

For me, honesty is the most important quality that my friend should have. Would you want your friends lying to you all the time? I know I would not. If he or she is lying to you, you probably do not know the real them. If your friend cares about you, he or she would not be lying to you all the time.

If your friend is not friendly, then you have a problem! The only way you can be true friends with someone is if you are friendly towards each other. These types of friends will always be there for you, and they will always keep you happy.

Even though my friends should be honest and friendly, having a good sense of humour is very important too. It is always nice to hear a good joke from a good friend once in while, right. This type of friend will be able to make you laugh when you are sad, and cheer you up when you just got that failing test mark. If my friends do not keep me laughing, then they probably would not be my friends to this day.

These are the qualities that every friend should have. These types of friends can make you laugh when your down, and always keep you company. He or she will always be there when you need someone to lean on, and be there for you when you are in the worst mood. Imagine if everyone had these qualities. Wouldn’t it be a better world?
