RESULTS
The nutrient compositions of the starter and grower diets
are presented in Table 2. The diets at each phase (i.e.,
starter and grower phases) were isocaloric and
isonitrigenous. Prior to this experiment, the chicks were
fed a 23% CP starter diet that would satisfy their
nutritional requirements according to the NRC (1994).
