The cultural filtrates of antagonistic fungal isolates selected in dual culture screening were further tested for suppression of S. sclerotiorum on leaves of B. napus. A mycelial agar plug of each antagonistic fungus was inoculated in 100 ml potato dextrose broth (PDB) in a 250-ml Erlenmeyer flask, in shake culture (150 rpm) at 20◦C for 15 days. Cultural filtrates were obtained by centrifuging the cultures at 12,000 rpm at 4 _C, and filtering through 0.22-lm membrane filters (EMD Millipore Corporation, Billerica, MA, USA) to remove hyphal fragments and were stored at 4 ◦C until use.
