I love to travel, and the place where I would like to visit is Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai is the largest city in Northern Thailand. It’s is the town of varieties, but I’ve never gone before, because one week in Chiang Mai may not be long enough for visit. There are so many things that you can get experience in Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai has a lot of accommodation choices, including guesthouses, mid-range hotels, some luxury resorts and hotels.
Most of the accommodation have tour packages to choose from ,and they have a bus service between locations.
If you don’t have car , For the short distances you can take tuk-tuk or red pickup trucks. They are very cheap. But, if you want to ride bicycles or Motorbike around the city ,can be rented from the shops and guesthouses.
It’s always a good time to visit Chiang Mai, because there are a variety of activity to do
In summer, go to see the elephants show in the morning. The Elephants will show off their talents. They can dance, play football and paint pictures. Volunteers are taken massage from the elephant. Then, ride on elephant back into the jungle for one hour. After that, go to Wat Rong Khun. It is different from other temple in Thailand because it is designed in white color. The white color stands for Buddha’s purity. And in the evening, go to see the animals closely at Chiang Mai night safari.
In the rainy season, go rafting ,swimming , fishing in the waterfall and go to bungee jump in the mountain or you can go paddling on the lake.
And a season that I think the best to visit Chiang Mai is the winter, because the flowers will bloom in the winter. You should go to Doi Ang Khang.
Sometimes, we call “Little Switzerland” of Thailand. In December to January, the temperature drops to zero or below. You can walk around the flower gardens or go cycling visit the beautiful trees. In addition, There is a temple in the middle of the mountain, that you shouldn’t miss it.
The Chiang Mai Night market, where sales of everything. You can choose to eat from a variety of food. but I recommend the local food of Chiang Mai. For example Kao Soi Kai –It is Egg Noodle in Chicken Curry. And Khantoke dinner. Locals usually celebrate festivals and holidays in their homes with the Khantoke dinner. There is a lot of cheap but very delicious.
So, This is a place where I want to visit and I hope to go someday.
