Ariya, the L4116 and L4106 BOMs changed again only 1 week after the audit by Hanh was complete and only 1 day after I submitted these projects. So when these projects complete, and you audit APS against the excel BOMS, you are likely to find additional differences in style L4116. I rushed out new load sheets for L4106 yesterday, so there is a chance it will be ok.
Hahn, please understand that these frequent changes are causing extra work for a many people…for Ariya to audit and put in an ERP issue log when APS doesn’t match the BOM, Data foundations has to email me and ask why the ERP log is asking for usages that don’t match the last load sheets, for me to change the load sheets and put into the queue, for the Data foundations team to process the changes and audit their work, for Ariya to audit again against the excel BOM, and then to report that we still don't match, and cause Paola to question me, I check the BOM and start this process all over again. I have yet to completely get through all the styles and update the load sheets and submit changes to APS for the FIRST round of changes, because I am too busy addressing ERP issue that have been put in because the BOMs have changed AGAIN and we haven’t processed it yet. Please consider if the BOMs can be more accurate at the time the audit is complete so that later changes are not necessary. Please carefully consider the significance of a change before allowing it, because processing these changes is taking resources away from doing other meaningful work. Our standard at HBI has been to load 0.06 for every thread usage, and require a greater than 5% usage change before approving a change in the system.
Ariya, is it possible for you to stop auditing and issuing ERP issues until we can complete the updates in APS? You are working ahead of us, and it would be more efficient if you could audit after we process the BOM changes into APS. I will be happy to coordinate this effort with you. If you have a priority list of styles, I can work through the APS update in the same order and let you know when they are ready for you to audit. That way you should find fewer issues to report and we can work more efficiently.
