Fig. 3 A shows that 0.05 and 0.1 μg/ml of gentamicin alone did not exhibit significant antibacterial activity, while in combination with 8 or 12 μg/ml of carnosic acid it totally inhibited the bacterial viability of the gentamicin- susceptible MRSA-GM20 clinical isolate after 24 h of treatment.
