Reputation is important, it's especially important in a small community.
The other forum had a choice, turn a blind eye to a prolific troll who is also a clever wordsmith, or moderate him but have a wider community in this province. Lots of posts is not necessarily a good thing, especially when they alienate the community at large.
IMHO that forum got it wrong, BIG TIME!
What really switched me off them was when they banned myself and Steve Prince (another member here who regularly goes on the back rides) for allegedly being the same person. We might both be English, friends and of similar ages, but we are most certainly not the same person.
The final straw for me was when they tried to "sell" their allegiance. They offered to remove the ban if my business sponsored a banner on that forum.
I wouldn't dignify their forum with a post, even if I weren't banned. In posting on that forum, you are lending them credibility where none is due and certainly none has been earned.
