• SAFETY IS OUR # 1 Priority!!
• Units being returned from ‘Offshore assignment’;
• First they will be inspected for any “missing” or “damaged” Components. (These should be reported by the ‘Offshore’ Field Technician when being prepared for transportation back to STH Base.)
• Coordinate with EPTI Staff (at STH Base) for WASHING before being delivered to Enerflex Yard.
• Units should be checked for Fuel [Diesel or CNG] and Compressed Air, sufficient to ‘Start & Run’ the Unit for a period of 5 to 10 minutes.
• ‘Bar’ the Unit over at least 2 complete turns to be sure there is no obstruction. IF necessary remove the Coupling before starting the engine
• Lock Out – Tag Out the Unit
• Check ‘Fluid levels’ and be sure the Coolant Level is acceptable.
• During the “Run period”, listen for abnormal noises or conditions.
• After Shut-down, close the Fuel Supply and prepare for a “Compression Check” of the Engine Power Cylinders.
• Complete and Record the Compression Readings “Dry”
• IF abnormal or “Low” re-check “Wet”
• Drain and Remove the Radiator(s). Arrange with EPTI to have the Vendor Inspect/Test/repair them.
• Begin necessary “I & O”; Modifications; Repairs, etc.
• TOOLS; are to be used correctly, kept in safe working order; cleaned and returned to ‘same place when no longer being used.
• PARTS: are to be requested from the “Warehouse Clerk”. ANY Parts taken from ‘Stock’ must have his knowledge & approval.
• When a Unit is nearing Completion;
• Coupling Alignment is to be checked/adjusted/recorded including Crankshaft ‘Thrust’ of Engine & Compressor
• Arrange I&E Tech to complete Instrument & ‘End Devise’ Panel checks.
• Complete a “F-A-T’ [Functionality Acceptance Test]
• Complete all related Documentation and record in the correct ‘Unit File’
• Keep Operations Manager informed of Progress and ‘Concerns’
