According to this equation simultaneous extraction of Au and Ag
from various matrices by using this chelating agent and RTIL was
expected and therefore to obtain a high enrichment factor, the effects
of different parameters affecting the complex formation and extraction
conditions were optimized in univariable approach.
3.1. ETAAS measurements
In order to decreases the possibility of chemical interference and
reduces the magnitude of the background signal, the pyrolysis and atomization
temperatures should be optimized. Here, these parameters
were studied. Pd(NO3)2 is a common chemical modifier that has previously
been used in ETAAS and good results have been obtained.
Therefore, it was decided to use this modifier in our experiments. It
was found that at the pyrolysis temperature of 750 and 700 °C for
Au and Ag, the maximum absorbance was achieved. Increasing
