This multi-faceted operation will play a central role in helping the company tell its story to a wide variety of audiences by creating content that can be consumed through multiple platforms, including print and television media outlets as well as social media channels. The operation is one of three regional Content Factory operations globally and is managed by Team WPP globally. Social Media Analyst
The Social Media Analyst will inform our communications strategies through actionable insights, interpret data to observe trends & patterns, and measure the impact of our campaigns.
This role also entails developing measurement methods, best practices and recommendations to improve the consistency of social media measurement, and to help increase and accelerate a greater understanding of social media's value and benefits, specifically related to digital content and platforms.
The individual will study trends in social media, research popular social media platforms, study emerging social media tools and observe how often those platforms and tools are used.
The Social Media Analyst will study the audience that the business is attempting to reach and prepare plans on how social media will work best for them.
The individual will write reports for clients and team members to show them the strategies available to them, and will also alert the team about any potential problems or concerns that may arise.
The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of social media and digital platforms, including prior experience in managing advertising campaigns for these platforms.
Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:
Assess and manages reporting tools and dashboards.
Identify emerging trends/best practices in social media and provides proactive recommendations to maximize opportunities for digital content and platforms.
Collects and analyze information from multiple data sources using technical expertise and tools to uncover insights, statistics and trends.
Analyze and recommend approach/reaction to trends, outcomes and findings.
Test hypotheses, identifies opportunities and develops clear business and measurement objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:

Visually communicate findings in written reports and presentations.

Minimum of three to five years of Public Relations, Marketing or Communications experience required; previous social media experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field required.
Drive, competence, flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Ability to manage multiple projects while working in a fast paced environment.
Strong follow-up and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
