The concentration of K, Ca, and Mg was determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometer (Perkin-Elmer 2380). The activities of urease and alkaline phosphatase were determined by the method of Tabatabai (1994). Briefly, the determination of urease activity is based on the determination of NH4 released when soil is incubated at 37 °C for 2 h with 0.1 M Tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane buffer, toluene, and urea.
