Findings : The study reveals a lobulated inhomogeneous isosignal T1/slightly hypersignal T2 intraventricular mass , measuring about 4.8x4 . 3x4.9 cm in AP, transverse and vertical dimension. Small areas of hyposignal T1 , hypersignal T2 are noted, may be cystic portions. The lass locates in left lateral ventricle near the foramen of Monro with an attachment to the septum pellucidum. Note superior extension of the mass with focal small non-enhancing hyposignal T1/hypersignal T2 lesion in left-sided cingulated gyrus , about 1.0 cm. Partial restrict diffusion is observed and mild heterogeneous enhancement is seen. The mass cause moderate to severe obstructing hydrocephalus and marked effacement of basal cistern. Diffuse brain edema is observed. Inferior displacement of ventricular floor, infundibulum and distention of perloptic CSF space likely related to increased intracranial pressure. No tonslllar herniation is observed.
There is mild mucosal thickening at left posterior ethmoid sinus. Nasopharynx and mastoid air cells are unremarkable.
