In our analysis, we define each time period to be one-hour
long and compute relevant problem parameters accordingly.
The summary of the analysis can be seen in Table I. To illustrate
how real drivers perform against the optimal threshold
policy we obtain, we also include the average queue length
drivers observe at the point of entry and the average waiting
time. As shown in Table I, the Night Safari taxi stand is
always too crowded with taxis, particularly during the busier
hours.
