Mood. We used Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) originally developed by Watson et al. (1988) and validated into Spanish by Sandı´n et al. (1999), a questionnaire that measures subjectively experienced moods using a total of 20 items. The inventory consists of ten positive emotions (e.g. active) and ten negative emotions (e.g. ashamed). Respondents were asked to rate each emotion on a five-point Likert scale (1 ¼ “very little or not at all” to 5 ¼ “extremely”), with regard to their current feelings. The internal consistency was 0.83 and 0.85 for the positive affect (PA) and negative affect (NA) subscales, respectively.
