3. Errors commonly found in Thai students' English pronunciations
For non-native English speakers, pronunciation errors can naturally happen, depend on
how much their native tongue has interfered the speech. For Thai learners of English, errors can
probably be classified in three aspects : consonantal sounds, vowel sounds, and suprasegmental
features. Here I would like to pinpoint only some typical errors studied by Thai well-known linguists,
and some from my own observation.
