“During my clinical rotation in the respiratory department,
a newly admitted patient spoke out my name and
smiled at me, but I did not recognize him at first. Then
he said I cared for him in the gastrointestinal department
three months ago, and he expressed his gratitude
for me then asked if I could continue to care for him. It
was rewarding and I received the sense of caring from
my clients. This experience reminded me of the good
side of life, …caring is reciprocal, which makes me full
of courage to learn to care for others”. (Group 3)
