In order to see the effect of different heating rates on kinetic
parameters, thermally cleaned glow curves were also recorded at
the heating rates of from 1 to 20 K/s. The obtained kinetic parameters
and symmetry factors of LBO:Mn single crystal were shown
in Table 1. The activation energies were present as average. It is
obvious that the material has second order kinetics for all heating
rates.
TL kinetic parameters of LBO:Mn single crystal were calculated
using fractional glow technique (FGT) by Holovey et al. [31].
Although both samples were produced by same synthesis method,
the TL peak temperature and thereby the activation energy were
found to be mildly smaller than our results. Recently, Annalakshmi
et al. have reported the kinetic parameters of polycrystalline
LBO:Mn, which was produced solid state sintering method [32].
The parameters were calculated using initial rise, various heating
