CESC FABREGAS has reportedly contacted Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez about a move to the Bernabeu.
Spanish website Sport claim the ex-Barcelona midfielder does not think he will be a part of new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte‘s plans.
Conte has brought in N’Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi and Fabregas was not part of the 2-1 win over West Ham last night.
Now it seems he is willing to cut ties with the London club he joined in 2014 after 28 goals in three seasons at the Nou Camp.
Fabregas, 29, a World Cup and double Euros winner, is still seen as a big-name signing for top clubs.
But Madrid are looking to offload midfielders such as Isco and James Rodriguez.
Another stumbling block to a move back to Spain is the fact Barcelona have just paid £45million for Andre Gomes.
