Dear All
Following on from Saturday cruise trip on 12 Sep 2015, I have received some letters and calls with concern over the standard of the cruise.
Firstly, safety and the well being of our agents and managers is of utmost importance. The boat was licensed to carry up to 100 passengers and on the night we had 73 people (well within the safety limit). The boat was also equipped with life rafts and life jackets and life buoys. Also it should be noted that the captain has been certified by harbor department and has over 20 years of experience.
I understand that the wind was very strong and there was a downpour of rain which certainly did not help the situation. I can also sympathize and understand that perhaps there was some people who were scared by the occasion.
The boat also was not large enough for us to be able to present awards to the ABC knight qualifiers which must have been disappointing for them.
Unfortunately, we cannot change what has already happened but we can still recognize the ABC qualifiers and present them with their trophies and certificates over the next few weeks.
Mr. Piyatat Tiensuwan (Bangkok) and Ms. Nuanjun Limsiritong (Up-country) will host a lunch or dinner for the cruises' qualifiers and ABC knight qualifiers with their SUMs and SDs. (Dates to be confirmed)
I look forward to seeing you all in the near future.
Regards.
