than other gastropods, indicating that it could be ready for commercial
sale within two years under artificial rearing conditions. The main limiting factor for aquaculture is the cost of diets. Therefore, determining
the substances or combinations that promote feeding, and developing
a compound feed suitable for hatchlings should be the key to artificial
