SONGKHLA, 9 May 2014 (NNT) – Security has been tightened up in Songkhla province after a twin bombing attack was carried out in Hat Yai City, injuring ten people on Tuesday May 6th.
National Police Chief Pol. Gen. Adul Saengsingkaew had ordered security to be beefed up by increasing a number of police officers. The police are also closely cooperating with Royal Thai Military and the Ministry of Interior on surveillance. Meanwhile, many more checkpoints have been set up on key roads linking major towns in the province together.
