RESULTS Food sanitation in food shop and food stall From the food sanitation survey found that there was no food shops passed the total basic standard requirement of food sanitation or even passed at the level of more than 70 percent or 7 from 9 items. From the checklist, all shops had table for food preparation or cooking were in good condition such as clean and easy to clean and were set at least a height of 60 cm above the floor. All food shops used good quality food additives that approved by authorized offices such as FDA. All food shops did not reheat ready-to-eat food, did not have effective waste screener and grease trap before draining and majority did not have drainage system with cover and not obstruction (Table 1). And the survey of food stalls found that there was no food stall which passed the total basic standard of food sanitation, there were only 16.4% of food stalls passed more than 5 items from 7 items. The topic that most food handlers did not pass were to keep ready-to-eat food in covered containers to prevent pests, waste containers did not have container lid and did not wear hat or net (Table 2).
